FOUNDER'S TESTIMONY
MY LIFE FOR JESUS CHRIST!
I was born into a family that did not know God.
I grew up having Christmas but not knowing anything about Christ.
I faced some serious and brutal abuses in my life that prompted me to turn to alcohol in my 20's and 30's to try to cover my brokenness. In my late 30's I felt so hopeless that I tried to take my own life 2 times. I went on mental health medications to 'fix me' but remained empty and broken.
I had finally gotten to the end of myself when I lost everything and was stranded on a mountain, my first real winter ever, in Washington state. I heard God calling me clearly as I walked in the woods. In the Spring of 2003 I was invited to a small church in a very small town by a now dear sweet friend. I walked up the aisle and gave my unmanageable life to Jesus at age 42 and have never looked back.
In 2006 I heard Him calling me to go to the nations and bring the Gospel of Peace that has healed me in so many ways. In 2008 I took my 1st short-term mission trip to southern Sudan. God completely grabbed my heart during that visit! I found CornerStone International in 2009 and went into fulltime ministry in 2011, just before South Sudan became the world's newest nation.
I am committed to loving, learning and serving my Lord wherever He takes me.
Right now that is in South Sudan and most recently in the refugee camps in northern Uganda.

Cornerstone, a non-denominational missions organization, exists to train, equip, send and cover those who are called to cross-cultural missions. We specialize in nurturing and blessing the vision given to you by the Holy Spirit to go where He leads.
